
SHERIDAN, WYOMING – May 9, 2025 – L’Oréal has announced the creation of a new Executive Committee-level position, Chief Innovation & Prospective Officer, to reinforce its innovation leadership in the beauty industry. This newly established role, effective July 1, 2025, will see Delphine, a seasoned L’Oréal leader, stepping into the role and joining the company’s Executive Committee.

Delphine’s appointment is a significant step forward in L’Oréal’s mission to maintain its leadership in the ever-evolving beauty landscape. The role will oversee the company’s existing Innovation teams and the Strategic Prospective Department, ensuring that L’Oréal remains ahead of trends and continues to lead in innovation with a future-focused approach. Delphine will report to Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO in charge of Research, Innovation & Technology.
Delphine’s career with L’Oréal, which began in 1997, has been marked by groundbreaking achievements. As an engineer by training, she quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the first woman to lead the L’Oréal Paris brand at a global level in 2019. Under her leadership, L’Oréal Paris has seen remarkable growth, solidifying its status as the world’s leading beauty brand.

Throughout her tenure, Delphine has demonstrated a remarkable ability to bring transformative innovations to the market, such as Elsève Glycolic Gloss and Panorama Mascara.
