Swiss chocolate giant Nestlé is bringing its much-loved Chocobakery collection to Mexico, marking another milestone in the brand’s strategic global rollout. After a strong debut in Brazil and wider Latin America, the introduction of the Choco Trio line to Mexican consumers signals a major step forward in Nestlé’s ambition to dominate the premium chocolate space in the region.

Introducing Choco Trio: Crunch, Cream, and Chocolate in Every Bite

Beginning in April, Mexican consumers will have the chance to indulge in Nestlé’s Choco Trio, a chocolate bar that blends smooth milk chocolate with crisp biscuit pieces. The range will be available in three delectable varieties—peanut, cookies and cream, and classic chocolate—providing a flavorful new experience that’s designed to satisfy evolving local tastes.

"Chocobakery is one of the fastest growing segments in confectionery in Latin America," said Corinne Gabler, Head of Confectionery at Nestlé. "In Mexico, the chocolate market has experienced significant growth, especially in the tablet segment, which, although representing only 3% of the total, has seen a 24% increase in the last year. In this context, we are now introducing Nestlé Choco Trio in Mexico. This launch not only enriches our portfolio but also brings an entirely new, premium indulgence to the Mexican consumers."

A strategic move in a market full of potential

Mexico represents Nestlé’s fourth largest market globally and the second-largest economy in Latin America, making it a logical next step for the expanding Chocobakery line. The company already boasts a substantial footprint in the country, with over 80 brands and more than 1,600 products. Building on this strong foundation, Nestlé plans to invest $1 billion USD in Mexico over the next three years to support infrastructure and solidify the country as a global export hub.
