A First for Guangzhou, a Leap for Urban Delivery
At the recent unveiling of the Guangzhou Nansha District’s Autonomous Driving Test Base and Smart Transportation Demonstration Zone in Mingzhu Bay, WeRide was granted the district’s very first batch of driverless road testing licenses. The Robovan W5, specifically built for city logistics, now has official permission to operate on public roads without a safety driver.
