SHERIDAN, WYOMING – April 16, 2025 - A vibrant tribute to Alfa Romeo’s rich heritage unfolds throughout 2025 with an exclusive year-long exhibition at the iconic Arese Museum, celebrating color as a defining element of the brand’s soul.
An Immersive Journey Through Alfa Romeo's Colorful Legacy
Alfa Romeo has long understood that color is more than just a surface feature—it’s an emotional language and a core part of its identity. Through “Alfa Romeo Celebrates Color: A Year of History, Design and Emotion,” the legendary Italian automaker takes visitors on a dynamic, month-by-month journey exploring how color has shaped its iconic image for over a century.
The exhibition showcases twelve carefully curated color families—one for each month—through rare, vintage Alfa Romeo models that have never been seen in public before. These models, usually housed in the Alfa Romeo Museum’s Depots, are displayed alongside original documents, color samples, prototypes, and archives from the Alfa Romeo Documentation Centre, which boasts over 6,000 linear meters of materials.

A Celebration of Craftsmanship, History, and Innovation
From the elegant, tailor-inspired hues of the early 20th century to the unmistakable Rosso Alfa, this exhibition is a celebration of Alfa Romeo’s chromatic evolution. The brand's relationship with color has evolved with time—from early two-tone customizations to the bold experimentation of the 1960s and the introduction of cinematic icons like the Giulietta in the 1950s.
Colors like Luci del Bosco, Sabbia Sahara, Giallo Ginestra, Grigio Eclisse, Bruno Cilento, and Bianco Polare each contribute a chapter to the Alfa Romeo story. And, of course, the many shades of red—from Rosso Corallo to Rosso Italia—anchor the emotional and stylistic journey.

Monthly Rotations Bring Fresh Perspectives
The exhibition is designed to evolve throughout the year. January began with a showcase of warm beige tones—from Cava to Cipria—followed by a February spotlight on Alfa Romeo’s iconic blues like Nuvola and Le Mans. March brought greens into focus, while April continues the blue palette. White will take center stage in May.
June, marking Alfa Romeo's anniversary, will of course be dedicated to the brand's most iconic shade: Rosso Alfa. Summer promises vibrant hues like yellow and orange, while the autumn months introduce the sophistication of gray, brown, and black. December will close the exhibition with a tribute to the brand’s enduring relationship with red in all its passionate tones.

A Multisensory Experience: Fashion Meets Flavor
In true Italian style, the celebration extends beyond cars. Alfa Romeo has launched a limited-edition capsule collection of T-shirts, available exclusively at the Museum store. Each piece pays tribute to an iconic hue—complete with color code, trade name, and the model it adorned. Notable entries include the Beige Cava AR821 of the Giulia sedan, the Rosso Italia AR514 of the Spider “Duetto,” and the vibrant Arancio "Bertone" AR601 of the Montreal.
The Alfa Romeo Caffè & Bistrò complements the visual and emotional experience with culinary artistry. Chef Luca Seveso crafts a unique risotto each month, echoing the featured color. Guests can look forward to creations such as the “2600 Sprint” white risotto in May and red-themed “33 Stradale” and “Giulietta” risottos in June and December, offering a delicious, multisensory celebration of the brand.
