SHERIDAN, WYOMING – April 18, 2025- Celebrating a Century of Innovation
Chrysler marks its 100th anniversary with a historic showcase at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, honoring its iconic legacy and visionary future.

Chrysler is revving up for a milestone celebration—100 years of pioneering achievements, iconic designs, and cultural influence in the automotive world. As one of America’s original Big Three automakers, the brand kicks off its centennial celebration at the 2025 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), spotlighting a legacy that continues to shape the roads ahead.

A Century in the Making
Honoring history with a special three-vehicle display at the 125th NYIAS.

Chrysler officially turns 100 on June 6, 2025, but the celebration begins April 16–27 at NYIAS. The brand is showcasing three landmark vehicles that represent its past, present, and future:

  • The original 1924 Chrysler Six, the same vehicle that debuted at the 1924 National Automobile Show
  • The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, a testament to Chrysler’s minivan leadership
  • The Chrysler Halcyon Concept, a futuristic vision of mobility and design

"Chrysler holds a significant place in automotive history and culture and has been a symbol of innovation and resilience for 100 years,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler CEO. “As one of the original Big Three, Chrysler contributed to industrial growth and influenced culture with iconic vehicles like the Chrysler 300. Chrysler is more than just a car brand, it’s a key part of the automotive industry."

  • Real-world testing of gas turbine engines in the 1960s
  • Introduction of one of the first muscle cars, the 1955 Chrysler 300

Chrysler's Present and Future
From segment leaders to concept visions, the journey continues.

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid continues to define the minivan category with innovative features like Stow ‘n Go, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. With a segment-exclusive plug-in hybrid powertrain, it remains the only one of its kind on the market.

The Chrysler Halcyon Concept, first unveiled in 2024 and now appearing at NYIAS, reflects the brand’s forward-looking design language and commitment to sustainability and technology. With features like a panoramic cockpit and next-generation SmartCockpit system, Chrysler teases a future shaped by Harmony in Motion.

Reaching 100 years is an accomplishment we want to both celebrate and use as an opportunity to declare our commitment to a future that honors Walter P. Chrysler’s legacy of innovation, engineering excellence and beautiful, affordable designs,” Feuell added.
